This central London based multi-disciplinary consultancy is seeking a senior structural AutoCAD technician to join the team. This is a permanent position with a salary of £32,000 - £42,000 dependent on the applicant's experience.|
They are a 100 strong consultancy with a head office in Ireland and have a busy and established London office. You should have a broad knowledge within the building structures sector in terms of drafting skills and should be a proficient and senior AutoCAD user.
The consultancy is introducing Revit and needs a senior AutoCAD user to help with the transition; any Revit experience would be advantageous however this is not a role for an experienced Revit technician.
You should have a number of years UK experience working on both new build and refurb projects in a variety of sectors.
The London office houses both structural and M+E teams and works on a variety of schemes incorporating buildings design, temporary works design and rail projects. They offer a good salary, pension, regular CPD and good links to relevant professional institutions. You should have excellent communication skills and be keen to work in a varied design role. Experience in temporary works design or rail would be advantageous.
You will report to a CAD manager however the role will involve you to help more junior technicians.
