Responsibilities for this Position: General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS), a market leader and technology innovator, is seeking talented professionals to deliver cutting edge solutions to our customers.

General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for an Entry-level Digital Logic Design Engineer to join our team. The position provides an opportunity to develop the cutting-edge technology that supports some of our nation's fundamental defense services. General Dynamics Mission Systems employees work closely with esteemed clients to develop solutions that allow them to carry out high-stakes national security missions. The selected candidate will work with collaborative teams to build and ensure adequate functionality of various General Dynamics Mission Systems and client technologies. Key Responsibilities
Entry-level Digital Logic Design Engineers research, design, and develop systems, at GDMS including: ruggedized digital computers and related components for harsh military environments.

An entry-level digital logic design resource is being sought for digital logic design and verification activities targeting FPGAs for a military environment.

Basic Qualifications: Candidates must demonstrate a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of electronic equipment and systems, and the ability to further advance General Dynamics Mission Systems technology.

The Entry-level Digital Logic Design Engineer position requires at a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis on digital circuit design. Applicant must exhibit a desire to learn how to do digital circuit design by writing and verifying Verilog HDL targeting FPGAs. Applicants with a master’s degree in Electrical Engineering are also encouraged to apply. Candidates should have completed an internship working on Electrical Engineering related activities.

Candidates must demonstrate a passion for innovation, a sophisticated understanding of various hardware systems and the ability to further advance GDMS technology. Occasional travel may be required.

Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.

A Department of Defense security clearance may be required. Applicants selected may be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
