These positions will support Integrated Product Development Environment (IPDE) Data Integrity and IPDE Integration roles. Initially, both roles will report to the Data Integrity Supervisor. |
Engineers supporting these roles require an understanding of the design process, functionality of the design tool (Teamcenter NX), and how the data interfaces into other systems and processes. Engineers in these positions will lead investigations into problems/issues and coordinate/lead the development of solutions to maintain the integrity of the data. In addition, engineers supporting the Data Integrity role will be required to develop proactive approaches to predict/anticipate failures in the design process, procedures, or tools and employ strategies/fixes to resolve.
Some of the techniques used to identify issues are audits, data assessments, and feedback from users and application developers.
Engineers supporting the IPDE Integration role will interface with Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Piping engineering disciplines as well as Material Services, ECM, Purchasing and IT.
Both roles require the ability to communicate clearly and concisely the details of issues and solutions across Engineering, Design, Information Technology (IT), and Management.
