About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary
Data Entry Clerk

  • Prepares and submits correspondence and job order reports as required.
  • Prepares equipment and paperwork necessary to facilitate the onward movement or retrograde of equipment to DLA DS, CONUS, APOD, FOB, AOB or other designated locations via US Postal Service, DHL, FEDEX or other US Military approved ground or air transport methods/means.
  • Maintains files, historical data and conducts General Office Maintenance.
  • May be required to escort equipment in transit (i.e. pallet rider for Mil Air movement of particularly sensitive or high priority materiel).
  • Conducts research, as required, for the proper identification and marking/tagging of OIR equipment and materiel.
  • 1 year experience supporting inventory, stow and issue of material in an automated warehousing environment utilizing Distribution Standard System.
  • Work involves repetitive motions and standing for long periods of time.
  • Work performed primarily in warehouse environment under moderate noise conditions, with some work performed outdoors, occasionally in harsh weather conditions.
  • Will be required to work on or near various warehouse operating equipment.
  • Performs a range of duties in the receipt, stow, and issue of material.
  • Ensures that items being processed are done in accordance with the customer's requirements.
  • Inspects, inventories, and documents incoming and outgoing shipments of merchandise / property.
  • Performs COSIS, stows, issues, and ships commodities.
  • May operate forklifts, automated storage modules, and automated stow/pick vehicles, etc.
  • Validates inventory balances and performs pre-adjustment research.
  • Conducts special inventories and inspections.
  • Updates official stock records.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements
  • Graduate of the 92Y, 92A MOS producing school or other branch of service equivalent with a minimum of 3yrs experience at Unit Supply level (or equivalent level experience in the US Navy, Air Force or Marine Corps supply systems).
  • Experience with the PBUSE automated property accounting system, AWRDS, and LMP, TPE is preferred. PBO personnel must have at least 3 years Property Book experience to conduct property transactions on behalf of the PBO.
  • Must be able to pass a 10 year background check for a security clearance.
  • A high school diploma or GED, directly related experience may be substituted for education.
  • Good computer skills and typing efficiency are a must.
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
  • Must hold a valid driver's license/insurance.
  • Perform other duties and required.
  • Must be able to work nights and weekends as required.
  • Continued employment may require ability to obtain and maintain specific equipment operator's license/certification.
  • Perform other duties as needed to accomplish mission and ensure customer service.
  • Must be able to recognize and respond to audible and visual signals associated with equipment and warehouse operations, emergency evacuations, etc.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write and understand English.
