The successful candidate must be able to manage the daily activities of 2 -4 supervisors, provide daily direction and technical assistance, quality, cost and schedule job tasks to meet projected budgets as well as promoting and implementing process improvements. The candidate must also be knowledgeable of all nuclear procedures/documents and safety requirements and ensure that they are adhered to by both hourly employees and supervisors. The candidate shall have a minimum of five (5) years leadership experience, good computer, interpersonal, verbal and written skills and be capable of interfacing with the customer and senior management. Candidate must be willing to work all shifts and overtime as required. Communicate effectively with all levels of management and employees. Candidate must have the capability of qualifying and maintaining nuclear qualifications. RADCON training/experience a plus.|
This position requires a broad-based knowledge of submarine construction processes across all trades. Specifically, the position requires an in-depth knowledge of piping related activities, an understanding of all supporting functions and their responsibilities, and an understanding of EBCs Planning and Control systems, including ARTEMIS, MRP, SWSS, 7G, EVMS, etc. Additionally, an intimate understanding of construction related procedures and processes is required (SPs, SSPs, NSIs).
