About the Business Line
We address the complete spectrum of energy challenges, including clean and renewable energy, energy efficiency and carbon management, hydropower and dams, thermal, geothermal and wind power generation, and transmission and distribution.

Job Summary
AECOM is actively seeking a highly talented Energy Field Auditor for immediate employment in Boston, MA. We currently have multiple opportunities in Massachusetts to assist the Boston Energy group in developing energy efficiency projects for industrial, commercial, and institutional customers in Eversource Energy and NGRID electric and gas territories.

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct comprehensive commercial, industrial and commercial energy audits (lighting, heating, water) in support of Eversource Energy and NGRID utility energy efficiency incentive programs at customer site facilities throughout Massachusetts. Projects will focus primarily on electric and gas savings opportunities at these facilities.
  • Perform energy consumption measurements including collecting project site electrical and mechanical systems data
  • Assemble project site energy inventory and prepare audit summary reports
  • Foster effective and positive business relationships with all parties throughout project phases including presenting project proposals and "selling" the project to potential customers
  • Prepare and maintain all forms of project presentations, documentation, and related material working with the Boston office to ensure back and forth of data is transmitted and that scoping issues are resolved with the Program Manager and data entry specialists, as required
  • Perform other duties such as attending office/client meetings, trade shows, and community outreach meetings as required

Minimum Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in energy auditing, technical or energy related work
  • Energy sales experience and/or aptitude
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills
  • MS Office proficiency, including Excel spreadsheet skills
  • Ability to travel and work from remote office required
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage multiple priorities and business relationships
  • Must possess a valid driver's license

Preferred Qualifications
  • Technical degree or certification in HVAC and/or mechanical systems
  • Sustainability, resiliency and/or climate adaptation experience
  • MA electrical license
  • Certification as an Energy Manager or Lighting Professional
