An opportunity has arisen for an experienced MEP Quantity Surveyor to join AECOM in Qatar.
The MEP QS is responsible for the quantity surveying activities relating to MEP Works including specific interfaces with base build and other specialist packages. The successful candidate will participate in discussions regarding quantity surveying issues with the Contractor | MEP Subcontractor and the Engineer's Programme Management Team. He shall attend all MEP progress meetings throughout the duration of the project and assist the Commercial Manager to ensure that the Quantity Surveying & Contracts Administration functions are implemented to the highest standards.
The MEP Quantity Surveyor's duties shall include, but not be limited to :
Bachelor of Science in Quantity Surveying
10 years experience in dealing with similar projects.
Has had some exposure to claims |arbitration | adjudication | Mediation and | or other Dispute Resolution procedures.
An additional chartered memberships would be advantageous.
