The OHIO Replacement Ship Control Systme team designs, develops, and tests reliable embedded control systems and graphical user interfaces that are used to monitor and control various ship systems.

The OHIO Replacement Ship Control Group requires a network engineer to assist in Requirements Analysis, Network Development, System Engineering, Cyber Security and System Test efforts related to contractor furnished control systems. Engineers are required to lead or assist in the Network and System engineering efforts ranging from initial system and component design, hardware/software integration, component qualification testing, and system acceptance testing. This position will require that the engineer perfrom technology investigations and trade-studies, identify/resolve risks and valid methods to ensure producible end products.

Candiates will be required to:
Analyze network throughput
Determine if levels of protection are adequate for cyber seucrity
Analyze system requirements to determine network architecture and design
Develop documentation for setup and configuration of highly complex production networks
Maximze network perfromance
Implement the necessary controls and procedures to proetct information system assets
Support kernel development and testing for operating systems used within the Ship Control System
Support other system engineering or software developmnet activities
