Our Mississauga office is looking for a Senior Project Manager ready to join our growing Canadian Operations within the Property & Buildings West group.

The Property & Building group works with private developers to manage growth for communities through the design and implementation of low and high density residential subdivisions and commercial/industrial site plans. Our team provides professional engineering services that include property diligence studies, servicing feasibility reviews, conceptual and detailed engineering design storm water management, contract administration, field services, project management and development management services.

Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Prepare scope, budget and schedule meeting Clients requirements, and ensure consultancy agreement is signed before commencing work on a project.
  • Communicates regularly with clients and consultant team, obtaining two way feedback and input
  • Enhances the client relationship through effective communication, quality and timely project delivery.
  • Work cooperatively with and regularly brief the Project Director on project performance.
  • Assemble the project team and regularly review the status of the project and quality of the deliverables.
  • Brief, lead and manage all aspects of work with the project team to achieve successful results.
  • Identify and manage project risks throughout course of project.
  • Coordinate the activities of the team members with respect to the technical, documentation and project administration requirements of the job.
  • Invoice project, budget management and debt collection.

Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:

  • Completion of post-secondary civil engineering education.
  • Professional Engineer (P. Eng.) designation is required.
  • Minimum 15 years' industry experience in design and management of site plans and subdivisions, with full understanding of servicing, grading and stormwater management requirements.
  • Ability to lead by example and simultaneously coordinate multiple projects.
  • Has a positive attitude towards their work, colleagues and is supportive of a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills and detail-oriented.
