About the Business Line
We create comprehensive delivery solutions for water, wastewater and wet weather systems, desalination, water resources, water reuse, tunneling, and community infrastructure through traditional and alternative delivery services such as program management and design-build.
The focus of this role will be to support a variety of projects in the transport, water and urban development markets located across Sydney and Australia. You will lead teams of professional engineers, scientists, technicians and support staff to deliver strategies and designs for water sensitive urban design (WSUD), catchment and stormwater site management, waterway and river engineering works including concept and detailed design of creek rehabilitation and landscape restoration, and water quality monitoring and assessment. The role will also involve leading and supporting business development activities, including client liaison and proposal preparation.
Your extensive experience in the areas described above means you will have the opportunity to provide direct supervision, leadership and mentoring of junior staff to assist in their professional development. The role also offers a significant opportunity to establish yourself within a diverse and growing team of water resources professionals, and to ultimately broaden your experience across the wider water resources sector.
To be successful in this role you will be a clear and confident communicator, with a keen interest in further developing your existing skillset but also broadening your experience across a wide range of projects. The Sydney Water Resources Team will highly value your positive attitude to work and provide a fun and inclusive work environment for you to reach your potential
