This position is for the Central Engineering group supporting the Landing Systems business at Global Engineering Center - India, Bangalore.
Lead Engineer is expected to work on the Dynamics and Controls Modeling
System Design and Architecture trade studies
Steady state and Dynamic plant model & control model development
Candidate is expected to provide technical expertise for the developing computational models to be used for aircraft brake control system development and design. The candidate shall be part of a team that develops models to perform analysis during product development, from control system architecture definition, control system performance analysis, through laboratory testing and verification of the brake control system.
Candidate should have experience with the basic principles of hydro-mechanical/hydraulic and/or electro-mechanical actuation systems, working experience with computational modeling of similar systems and experience with dynamic analysis of control system performance.
A key enabler for the verification of brake control systems and algorithms is the development of a modeling and simulation platform. Candidates will actively contribute to the development of this application using mathematical models and hardware testing infrastructure (e.g. hardware-in-the-loop simulations). The successful candidate will preferably have understanding, and possibly development experience, of physics-based modeling and analysis frameworks, particularly for continuous time control systems.

Strong Technical writing and presentation skills
B.E/M.E. in Mechatronics/Mechanical/ Computer Science
Experience: 7 to 9 years of Experience
