About the Job

An entry level Electrical Design Engineer is an integral part of the design team and utilizes engineering design, computer and communications skills to develop appropriate solutions for our projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. WSP|PB offers excellent growth opportunities. Our engineers, from entry level to top executive, work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects.

Responsibilities include
      • Service utility coordination
      • Power distribution
      • Lighting
      • Fire alarm
      • Low voltage infrastructure
      • Emergency power systems
      • UPS design
      • Construction Administration

Job Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
      • Intern experience designing electrical systems for the built environment
      • Knowledge of building and energy codes
      • Knowledge of AutoCAD/Revit
      • Quality driven
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Ability to drive projects forward
      • Ability to perform well under time constraint
      • Interest in innovative design, specifically in renewable energies and sustainable, high performing buildings
