About the Job

A Designer is an integral part of the design team and utilizes engineering design, computer and communications skills to develop appropriate solutions for our projects. Our Engineers work on high quality, high-profile, national and international projects. You will actively participate in the full project cycle, from the design phase through the final construction close-out. WSP offers excellent growth opportunities.

Responsibilities include
      • Development of initial Pluming and Fire Protection system concepts
      • Design of Plumbing and Fire Protection systems
      • Calculation of preliminary water, gas, sanitary/sewer and storm loads for utility coordination
      • Construction administration
      • Attend client meetings

Job Requirements
      • 5+ years of experience in Plumbing Systems Design for Commercial Buildings; Healthcare and Fire Protection Design experience is preferred
      • Proficiency in both AutoCAD and REVIT is required
      • Organized individual with great multi-tasking skills
      • Resourceful self-starter with the ability to work productively on multiple projects, simultaneously, and under strict deadlines
      • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
      • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Civil or Environmental Engineering preferred.
