WSP|Parsons Brinckerhoff has a current opening for a Track Inspector to work in the Seattle, Washington office. The successful candidate for this position will provide track inspection services for the Amtrak Seattle Washington King Street Station Platform and Track Improvement project. This project involves construction of new tracks and switches that will enable more efficient train movements between Amtrak's Seattle Maintenance Facility and westerly platforms of King Street Station.

Job Duties:
      • Monitor the work of the construction contractor daily
      • Prepare daily Inspector Reports
      • Identify and document any unusual conditions encountered
      • Verify that work is completed in conformance with the Client/Project Plans and Specifications

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • High School Diploma or equivalent
      • Training or experience directly related to reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications
      • Training or experience directly related to track configurations and railroad signaling
Experience Required:
      • A minimum of five years of prior experience as a track inspector or as a Railroad Road Master
      • Good communications and writing skills
      • Demonstrated ability to read and interpret plans and project specifications
The immediate ability to work in the United States is required. Local candidates are preferred. No relocation assistance provided.
