A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks an SAP Payroll Business Analyst to join our team in Boston.

Position Functions or Responsibilities:
  • Coordinates requirement gathering with SAP Functional Lead and Security Teams
  • Evaluates information gathered from multiple sources to create documentation, including but not limited to business requirements, process flows, upgrades, enhancements, change requests, test plans and test results
  • Subject Matter Expert for SAP Payroll defects and errors for research and resolution Conducts requirement and test plan reviews and ensures requirements and test documentation is approved in accordance with audit standards Develops and executes testing strategies for new and existing functionality
  • Works with Payroll and functional Team on Reporting requirements and set up including variants as needed
  • Provides assistance with setting up variants for standard reports - weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually or ad hoc
  • Configuration expertise in setting up of new earning, tax and deduction codes
  • Ensures issues are identified, effectively researched, tracked, reported on and resolved/escalated in a timely manner Understands Corporate GL Methodology to be able to effectively assist in research and resolution of posting documents, mapping, configuration and reconciliation Deliver and communicates effectively with Payroll Team Members and other organizational units to identify needs and evaluate alternative solutions
  • Must be knowledgeable in end to end SAP Payroll Processing including day to day payroll and SAP year end reconciliation, W2 production and other yearend processes
  • Assists product support in Interface set up, configuration and changes
  • Assists as needed in mergers and acquisitions
  • SAP Payroll Escalation point of contact for system errors and troubleshooting

Basic Qualifications:
  • 5-7 years of SAP HCM experience with an emphasis on Success Factors integrations
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience working in payroll environments
This is a full-time salaried position with a group company within NTT DATA. Please note, 1099 or corp-2-corp contractors will NOT be considered.
