Supervisor of Supplier Management and Certification:|
The position is responsible for distribution of work and setting priorities of a currently 7 member team to meet production schedules and reporting status to management
Key processes performed by this team include :
Perform review of completed Source Inspection Reports (SIRs) for completeness and accuracy prior to updating the Material Qualification System (MQS) with traceability information documented on the Certified Record Inspection Sheet (CRIS) for Level 1 and Hull Integrity (HI) items. Review data that was input for completeness and accuracy. Identify to management issues identified during the review of SIR certification packages. Assist with obtaining certification packages to support SupShip and NAVSEA audits. Assign Material Identification Control (MIC) numbers to source inspectors and update the Skip Lab file as required. Coordinate VPAR and film packages for review by film viewers. Log film VPARs for accountability and package after acceptance for audit by SupShip. Coordinate film for retention by Iron Mountain.
Perform monthly audits of work performed by other Supplier Quality NA with HII-NNS routinely managing open liabilties between the two companies respond to incoming correspondence from SUPSHIP (Corrective Action Requests (CArs)
Perform Trend Analysis of Supplier Performance, Manage multiple Supplier Quality's databases including workload, Supplier Corrective Action Report (SCAR) Database,Skip Lab and Open Liabiltities
Manage Department Dashboards and Website. Manage overhead and direct budget performance for Supplier Quality
Provide reports to management as required.
