General Dynamics Mission Systems has an immediate opening for a Command, Control, Battle Management and Communication (C2BMC) System Integration Engineer to join the Missile Defense National Team (MDNT). The position provides an opportunity to develop cutting-edge technology in support of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA). Our employees work closely with the MDA to develop the Ballistic Missile Defense System (BMDS); to include the deployment of the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communication (C2BMC) system. The C2BMC System Integration Engineer will integrate the C2BMC software into the C2BMC test suites at the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Integration and Operations Center (MDIOC) and the operational suites at the customer sites to include Northern Command (NORTHCOM), Pacific Command (PACOM) and Strategic Command (STRATCOM). In this role you will:
Significant Contiguous United States (CONUS) and Outside Contiguous United States (OCONUS) travel to customer and contractor sites is required.

The C2BMC System Integration Engineer must be a self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Candidate must be able to cooperatively develop integration plans/procedures from sources such as functional/performance requirements and stated technical capabilities, monitor the integration of the test resources, execute these detailed integration procedures, analyze integration results, and present the results orally and in written format. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, must be able to work effectively and cooperatively with people within and external to the program, and must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
C2BMC System Integration Engineers must have a bachelor's degree in computer, electrical or software engineering, computer science or a related engineering discipline or a related specialty or the equivalent, and five to eight years of related experience. Applicants with a master's degree and three to five years of professional experience also qualify.
Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
