WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff is currently seeking an Electrical Designer to work on a variety of projects in the St. Louis Office under the supervision of our senior engineering staff. The successful candidate will perform electrical design and drafting work for transportation infrastructure and building projects of varying complexity while applying industry standard techniques and procedures. This is an excellent opportunity for a proficient designer to work on important regional and national projects and influence engineering design work for an internationally recognized global firm.

Job Duties Include:
      • Assist in preparation of calculations, construction estimates, drawings and specifications for electrical systems including power distribution, lighting, controls, fire alarm, security and communications
      • Collaborate effectively with team members across engineering disciplines
      • Provide design support during construction activities
      • Apply knowledge of NEC

Job Requirements
Education Required:
      • Technical degree (Associate's Degree)
Experience/Skills Required:
      • 5 years of experience in electrical design
      • Excellent oral and written communication skills
      • Highly motivated, proactive and willing to undertake new challenges
      • Sound knowledge of Electrical Engineering fundamentals
      • Proficient in AutoCAD, Revit MEP and/or Microstation

Desired Qualifications:
      • Degree in electrical engineering technology, or equivalent experience
      • Experience with AGI32
