About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.
This position is located in Mannheim Germany and is contingent upon contract award.
The Contracts and Accounting Manager is directly responsible for the financial and contractual operations for the APS2 - European Activity Set.
1) Manages the financial and contractual operations for the Project to include contactor cost, performance reports, and price modifications as they occur.
2) Accomplishes financial reporting and performance monitoring for the Project as required by the contract and by the Company.
3) Processes all invoicing and purchasing activities as required in accordance with the EAS EAGLE Invoicing and Purchasing Guide and in accordance with Company procedures.
4) Ensures invoices are accurate and submitted to the COR and KO in a timely manner, in the correct format, and with the required detail.
5) Ensures all ODC purchases are completed as required with no delay to the effort.
6) Prepares analysis and interprets contract financial performance to support management planning, cost controls and contract performance.
7) Plans, implements and monitors cost control methods and processes.
Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested.

Must possess a Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting or related field with at least ten (10) years of specialized experience in managing multiple projects in a government contracting environment. Knowledge of FAR and DFAR with experience in contract management, procurement, practices, cost accounting and financial management.
Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate well with the government customer and with employees at all levels within the organization. Appropriate verbal and written communication skills to conduct meetings, execute plans, prepare reports, plans and working instructions.
Must be a U.S. Citizenship is required.
Position will require the ability to pass a pre-employment drug-screen and a government background check.
