We are currently looking for a Test Engineer to join our team in Toronto .

Purpose of Position :

Design Automated Test Equipment for a fast paced, high volume electronic manufacturing environment

  • Develop PC based Automated Test Equipment for high volume electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Develop ATE Test sequences using LabView programming environment.
  • Support existing Test Platforms (HW/SW/Support).
  • Provide Test Platform troubleshooting guidance to team members.
  • Evaluate and qualify test systems, documenting results.
  • Organize and maintain activity / project documentation.
  • Monitor assigned Test Platform production Test Yields.
  • Provide technical product support to Production and Engineering personnel.
  • Provide failure analysis reports in support of Test Yield Improvement Initiatives.
  • Interface with internal and external functional/technical contacts.
  • Train operators in the operation of test equipment.
Skills, Knowledge and Experience Required:
  • Electrical Engineering Degree (preferred) with 3 years combined experience in following;
    • Demonstrated Test Automation aptitude.
    • Demonstrated software programming experience (LabView, C).
    • Demonstrated hardware test experience in analog, digital and microprocessor circuits
  • Familiar with USB, GPIB, RS232, and I2C instrument communication.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle several concurrent projects.
  • Strong electrical/mechanical/software aptitude.
  • Work with minimal supervision in a fast paced electronic manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
