Our greatest asset has been and will continue to be our people. We are looking for an experienced and motivated individual to fill the position of Terminal Ops Representative based in Houston, Texas.
  • Assist in tracking of inventory by grade by customer at the Oxy's Corpus Christi Crude Oil terminal on a daily basis and provide daily updates to customers
  • Assist in coordination of incoming nominations from third parties along with Oxy's nominations including:
    • Pipeline volumes
    • Vessel size
    • Loading slot request
  • Manage the day to day activities related to Crude Oil Terminal and related pipeline nominations in Allegro or other systems of record to ensure accurate data for decision making and invoicing to third parties and customers.
  • Assist Operations analysts in maintaining constant (daily) contact with third parties (customers, pipeline operators, terminal operator and other Oxy personnel) to ensure movements are occurring based on loading program
  • Assist in coordination with other Oxy operations personnel to ensure accurate transfer of information and market knowledge:
    • Pipeline nominations on third party pipelines
    • Vessel vetting details for third party details are provided to appropriate team member along with terminal operator as needed
  • Verify successful delivery and receipt of products including archival or appropriate documentation (Bills of Lading, inspection reports, etc.)
  • Assist in securing information and resolving discrepancies to allow accounting to invoice customers in a timely manner *LI-YN1

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field required
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' experience with marketing operations or back office support
  • Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong computer skills, MS Excel, ability to quickly
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-task environment
  • Hands-on knowledge of scheduling systems
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate occasional overtime work
