About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a MAGTF Planning & Analyst to support I Marine Expeditionary Force (I MEF) Survivable Conventional Force Requirements and Technical Analysis of Combat Operations for the Commanding General, I MEF and Survivable Installations and Force Requirements for the Commander, Marine Corps Installations West.
Duties / responsibilities may include:

  • Provide recommendations to senior level staff regarding the execution of strategic and operational planning, effectiveness, and readiness based on thorough analysis and preparation of white papers, decision papers, briefings and other correspondence
  • Responsible for exercise design, exercise planning, developing exercise planning products, and supporting execution for exercises and security cooperation activities, and other actions related to training and exercises
  • Serve as MAGTF aviation, ground combat, logistics, or intelligence training analyst technical expert and participate in working groups, program development forums, analytical activities, training and readiness exercises and other forums as required to accomplish contract requirements.
  • Operate in joint, multinational, and interagency environments
  • Review and analyze MEF OPLAN/CONPLAN responsibilities to ensure MEF Security Cooperation initiatives and training/exercise programs meet MEF requirements
  • Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree. USMC operational and staff experience a must. At least 8 years of relevant work experience. Previous USMC aviation, ground combat, logistics or intelligence MOS required.

Strong communication skills, both written and oral. Ability to multi-task& support multiple priorities. Strong Analytical and Problem Solving Skills. Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills. Knowledge of Marine Corps Planning Process at the tactical, operational and strategic levels.
U.S. Citizenship required and a TOP SECRET Security Clearance/SCI eligible.
