About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
Essential Job Functions: Provide overall management and engineering support in support of Advanced Undersea Systems Program Office (PMS394) providing objective, unbiased assessment of current and future classified work at a government activity as well as the relationship, communications, and interactions between the government agency and their sponsoring program office.
Evaluate organizational structure, alignment with stakeholders, execution of tasking, and assess activity operations for efficiencies. Assess core capabilities of the activity to support present and proposed classified work. Evaluate processes for development of mission employment guidance. Assess sponsoring program office leadership personnel and processes for tasking the government agency and how interactions, expectations, requirements, and resources are levied in search of efficiencies. Results of these evaluations will be written reports and presentations with recommendations to streamline operations and information (requirements) flow to/from stakeholders.

Conduct reviews and analyses of Program Office and associated shipyards and providing recommendations and mentoring of organizational structures and resource allocations. Additional analysis should include reviews of process management framework to ensure necessary documentation and process improvement opportunities exist. Review and analysis results will be developed into specific recommendations for adjustment and improvement to internal processes to ensure alignment of mission, strategic and corporate alignment to Program Office, and identification of business strategies for expanded support across the maintenance engineering community.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum of ten (10) years technical and/or operational experience that demonstrates the individual is a prominent and recognized authority in the subject matter field. Candidates should possess excellent communications and analytical skills; working knowledge of computer systems and integrated software application programs; mastery of Department of Defense policies, procedures, and tools. Submarine program management related experience. Submarine new construction related experience preferred. Position requires an active Secret Clearance.
