GHD North Queensland is looking for an experienced and connected Structural Engineer to be based in our growing Cairns office. As a member of our dedicated local Structural team you will work on a variety of projects in the public and private sectors, across an extensive regional client portfolio. As part of an integrated design consultancy you will be required to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team and will also be involved in mentoring and development of junior staff.
This challenging role will require you to develop and test your leadership skills, taking on tasks which may include coordinating and managing project teams for commercial, residential and institutional buildings as well as civil infrastructure projects including bridges, marine works and liquid retaining structures.
Whilst working closely with our leaders, critical to success will be your ability to utilise and apply your commercial acumen balanced with a strong client focus.
