About the Business Line
Building Engineering
We deliver creative solutions for building projects for industry, government, commercial and leisure sectors. Our building engineering specialists have expertise in structural and building services engineering, fire engineering, acoustics, facades and seismic design. We embed sustainability principles in every design.

Job Summary
Effectively control commercial, managerial and technical aspects of projects or parts thereof for which you are responsible. Sourcing opportunities and preparing fee proposals for submission to client, including resources and programme. Leading a team of engineers and technicians designing building infrastructure schemes. Undertaking structural engineering projects, performing analyses and calculations as appropriate. Supervising work, ensuring that it is carried out to the appropriate technical standard and that it is managed to programme and budget

Minimum Requirements
A graduate in Structural Engineering or equivalent with experience of Structural Engineering in directly relevant fields. Ability to deliver design solutions, assessment calculations, lead teams and successfully manage projects. A solid track record of having worked on a variety of structures projects, possibly as project leader on some, with experience of dealing directly with clients. A highly motivated individual with excellent communication skills and ideally a Chartered Engineer. Knowledge and experience of the local South Wales Marketplace

BSc/MEng IStruct E
