Purpose of Role
To assist the contract management team in delivering a customer focussed cost effective and efficient maintenance service. This includes Planned Maintenance, Reactive Maintenance and other Services as required in order to meet its contractual and legal obligations.

Principal Accountabilities
• Carrying out routine PPM and minor repair and improvement works - to assist in the Installation of new plant and equipment when required - - Be proactive in reporting faults to equipment, buildings and fittings. - Work in accordance with Work Instructions, Safe Working Practices and Method Statements ensuring relevant paperwork is completed in an accurate timely manner. - Maintain stock control systems as directed. - Maintain the cleanliness of plant rooms, workshops and storage areas. - Work safely, ensuring the safety and well being of yourself, colleagues, customers and visitors. - Act as a Competent Person as directed and appointed. - Complete all job packs/reports as required in a timely manner.

Bricklayer required for Building Maintenance Contract

Carillion have been successful in securing long term contracts with the Northern Ireland Housing Executive for the delivery of their response maintenance services in the South/East Belfast & North Down Areas, including Bangor, Newtownards, Downpatrick and Newry.
To service this contract we have a requirement to recruit a variety of qualified trades personnel to cover all of the above listed areas.
Applicants Should be:
    • Qualified in a relevant trade and be able to provide suitable certification.
    • Hold a valid CSR/CSCS Card.
    • Demonstrate experience in working on Social Housing contracts, particularly NIHE contracts.
    • Experience in dealing with the general public in a professional manner ensuring all customers are treated with dignity & respect.
    • A vehicle may be supplied, therefore applicants should possess a full clean driving licence.
    • Able to work within a performance driven environment and to tight deadlines, ensuring contract KPI's are delivered.
    • Able to deal with the general public in a professional manner ensuring all customers are treated with dignity, respect & fairness.
    • Be able to work within Safe Working Practices and adhere to Carillion Health, Safety and Environmental policies and guidelines.
