Rigs, installs, services, moves and dismantles equipment and machinery and performs such other work as not specifically designated under other maintenance classifications.|
• Moving and locating machines and equipment according to floor plans
• Installing, rearranging and removing overhead line
• Shafting, mechanical handling systems, hoists, etc.
MUST have completed an apprenticeship program or have 8 years of documented experience in the trade.
Knowledge of tools and equipment such as drill presses, power saws, chain falls, jacks, skids, slings, burning torches, and other types of portable and hand tools.
Able to plan, layout and complete work with a minimum of supervision.
May be assisted by helpers.
Able to handle / manage hazardous waste from time to time.
Must be U.S. Citizen
Must be able to acquire a U. S. Government-issued security clearance.
