Randstad CPE are working with a medium sized civils groundwork contractor who have a vacancy for a Contracts Manager for Surfacing to form part of Contracting team, based just outside Edinburgh.|
This client is a reputable company with a steady pipeline of work who are continuing to expand and grow their business.
The successful candidate must have the ability to supervise contracting squads, run induction/toolbox talks, plan future workload to meet contract targets, plan and monitor production, place timely and accurate orders for materials and plant to ensure efficient production - balancing cost against client value and adherence to standards. You will ensure that accurate site records are maintained and, where necessary, measure and value work. You will have the confidence to liaise with the commercial team and with the customer representatives on site.
It would be advantageous to have SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid Certification.
