Purpose of Role
Salary: £24000–£28000 per annum pro rata
Hours: Part Time (24 hours per week)

Carillion is a British facilities management and construction company committed to building a better tomorrow. Every year we train over two thousand apprentices in thirteen learning centres all over the country. Whatever they’re learning – from bricklaying to carpentry – our apprentices need a functional level of literacy. We’re looking for fully qualified teachers to help our apprentices achieve the educational standard they need to earn their professional qualifications.
What you’ll do
You’ll be working with people from a range of backgrounds and with mixed degrees of educational attainment. Although they’ll have left school, many will have a very low level of functional literacy, and it will be your job to:
Already a qualified teacher with considerable experience at GCSE level, you’ll have the motivation and confidence to adapt to the needs of your students, as well as the freedom to work in a way that gets the best possible outcomes.
