About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. Job Summary
The Service Center Supervisor manages the Building Operations Center (BOC) Team and the Customer Service Teams and ensures that they are adequately resourced with sufficient people, equipment, funds, training to be successful in their respective missions. The Service Center Supervisor will manage Customer Service Specialist and Building Operations Specialist staff who are responsible for the monitoring of all facility activities related to operation, construction and renovation activities for a 3 million square foot facility situated on a 270 acres compound, as well as several other smaller sites within the Washington Metropolitan Area. These areas receive service calls and work order request by telephone, classified network or in person from a wide range of customers and enter and retrieve information from the automated New Scale database which then transfers the data into the computerized MAXIMO work management and tracking system, and/or on manual logs. The Service Center Supervisor reports directly to the Resources Integration Center (RIC) Manager and will, at the direction of senior management, execute special project management or development. Must be available to work rotational shifts including nights, weekends and holidays.

Minimum Requirements
  • Strong customer service background. Must be highly organized, detail oriented, and self motivated.
  • Must be able to communicate in a clear and professional manner and have excellent written communication skills.
  • Ability to plan, direct, motivate and execute work necessary for branch and contract success while adapting to a changing environment.
  • Understanding client base, identifying their needs and how to interact with them (customer relations).
  • Five years of progressive technical or supervisory experience in the field of facilities/installed requirement operation and maintenance programs.
  • High School diploma or equivalent.
  • Must have an active clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Business or related field of study (Preferred).
  • Three to four year experience in a similar function, preferably in a facilities maintenance environment.
  • Three to five years experience in a supervisory role.
