Morson Group, Finance Recruitment Division. We are currently assisting our client with their recruitment of a Timesheet Cost Coordinator. You will be based at my clients premises in Rugby (Warwickshire).

Reports to: Financial Controller
Duties and Responsibilities
The Timesheet Cost Coordinator is responsible for either managing the delivering or assisting the Financial Controller in managing the delivery of the following tasks:
Health, Safety & Environment
Responsible for complying with the Group health, safety and environmental policies.
Partner cost reconciliation - Integrity of costs & transaction processing, including reallocation of expenses, IT, Vehicles, Co Mobiles, Training etc.
managing the collection of timesheet entries from the system
Reconciling and cross charging monthly partner costs to projects.
Reconciling historical project transfers to costs on ledgers.
Checking timesheets are completed for all relevant employees.
Check all employees are on the relevant projects organogram.
Check all starters and leavers are added to the system in a timely manner.
Managing and improving timesheet database.
Liaising with Network Rail/Auditors on certified rates.
Month End Processes
Preparing & posting accurate Journals, Accruals & Prepayments in line with Accounting policies, & accurate cost allocation.
Preparing cost information for key stakeholders.
Delivering Results
Sets and achieves high standards for themselves and for others, takes personal accountability for results, and monitors performance against pre-set objectives and performance standards
Candidate Requirements
Educational, Knowledge & Experience Requirements
Previous experience of accounting processes
A level (Equivalent)
Part qualified / actively studying for accounting qualification e.g. AAT
Relevant experience -minimum 2 years
Excel spreedsheet skills including Pivot table and Macros
Experience in dealing with multiple stakeholders including QS's, Project managers and Directors
Enrolled /on professional accounting qualification (e.g. CIMA, ACCA)
