Your new company
The company specialises in the refurbishment and fitting out of offices and industrial units throughout London and the South East of England. Office projects range from the design and fitting out of a small city centre office for a start-up company, to the multi-floor refurbishment of a high specification office for a major property company. Our industrial works vary from minor dilapidation works on a small warehouses, to the full refurbishment of the internals and externals of a larger warehouses.

This medium sized contractor is looking to expand and they are currently looking for an established project manager to be based out of the London office, but work on sites as far out as Guildford. With a mixture of working from home, visiting sites, and reporting in to the London office for meetings, this is a flexible location role ideal for somebody living in the South West of London or further out into Surrey.

Your new role
Your role will be manage projects, liaising with the client and sub-contractors to ensure that work is carried out to specification and time scale; prioritise different elements of the project as necessary. You will ensure the project is managed in line with the construction plans and that monitoring and evaluation reporting, including RAMS, are in place and adhered to, monitor resource budgets and use systems to accurately record relevant information. You will also be expected to liaise with colleagues in the office to keep them informed of progress including issues as they arise. This role requires daily travel to and from sites, and weekly meetings in Central London.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to have experience working in a Project Manager capacity, preferably in an industrial or office fit out capacity, between the values of £50,000 - £700,000. You will need to hold an SMSTS, CSCS card, First Aid at Work and Asbestos Awareness certification. A relevant qualification; for example an NVQ in a related field, would be beneficial. You must be willing to travel, hold a current driving license, and have access to your own vehicle.
