About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. We optimize the reliability, availability and sustainability of equipment, logistics systems and facilities for clients around the world. GSS supports the U.S. Government, non-U.S. Governments and industry clients with worldwide program management, planning, design, operations and maintenance, logistics, aviation services, security, international development, environmental and civil engineering and mission and intelligence support.

Job Summary
*This position is contingent upon contract award*

AECOM seeks a Deputy Program Manager to support our Global Mission Solutions unit supporting language programs within the Intelligence Community. The AECOM DPM will support the Program Manager on a local to global basis achieving quality outcomes, financial performance and client satisfaction and is responsible for ensuring delivery of projects within cost, scope, and schedule, and the quality of work is in alignment with AECOM's business strategy, goals and vision, and act as the PM in the absence of the Program Manager.
• Plan, direct, and schedule the successful completion of the program.
• Communicate with the COTR and respond to direction
• Provide quality products and reports and insure their accuracy
• Participate in required reviews
• Implement appropriate corrective action to resolve issues
• Manage personnel and communicate policies, purpose, and goals of program
• Formulate and enforce AECOM work standards
• Provide planning and controlling functions to include resources, in a method that avoids unnecessary management and overhead function and creates efficiencies
• Identifies risks and provides mitigation strategy

Minimum Requirements

• Must hold active Top Secret/SCI security clearance with polygraph
• Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting, management related field or equivalency
• Valid U.S. Passport
• Demonstrated operational experience in a HUMINT discipline
• Ability to manage programs providing operational support in OCONUS environments in support of the IC.
• Operational overseas experience
• Demonstrated ability to be adaptable and flexible to changing requirements
• Excellent communication, organization, writing, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead, develop, and motivate personnel
• Ability to plan and manage work efficiently under stress and time constraints
• Ability to interact effectively in a multicultural environment
• At least 5 years of demonstrated and relevant work experience including:

• At least one year of experience managing programs of 20 or more personnel with a proven record of managing multi-task programs, controlling funds and resources, and successfully meeting customer requirements with quality deliverables.
• At least one year of experience managing projects with two or more subcontractors with a demonstrated ability to foster, implement, and coordinate across various levels and sizes of subcontractors.
• Experience within the IC and/or increasing responsibility in project/program management.


Domestic and International travel as required

Preferred Qualifications
• At least one year of experience managing linguistic support contracts
• At least three (3) years of experience with service delivery to primary Intelligence Community activities
• Overseas experience with substantive knowledge of various intelligence/information gathering operations
• Experience working as a linguist
• PMP certification
