We also supply the International Space Station and, as such, play a pivotal role in exploring the universe.

Thales Alenia Space requires a Propulsion Subsystems Lead to lead our Electrical Propulsion development for our key projects. The Propulsion Subsystems Lead will be responsible for the development and qualification plan, the subsystem specification along with the product competitiveness. This is a key position to further develop and enhance Thales Alenia Space's expertise within both Electrical and Chemical Propulsion.

Key Responsibilities and tasks:
  • Lead TAS UK propulsion subsystem in cooperation with TAS France for specific key projects
  • Develop TAS UK skillset in propulsion area
  • Contribute to TAS development in UK

Experience and Skills:
    Knowledge of Electrical Propulsion or Chemical Propulsion would be an asset
    Experience of working in a multi-discipline team environment
    Customer, partners and suppliers interface
    Management of R&D projects, satellites studies & developments
    Experience in Space domain and Telecom satellites in particular
