A group company within NTT DATA currently seeks an IT Training Development coordinator (Primavera/MS Project Experience) to join our team in Dallas, TX.

Position Functions or Responsibilities: NTT DATA is seeking an experienced IT Training Development coordinator (Primavera/MS Project Experience) with a background in Development of Training Curriculum in IT Project scheduling Function. The role is to key to develop a training curriculum based on the scope of IT Scheduling Service deliverables and continuous improvements/ innovation needs.

Position Functions or Responsibilities:

The resource will be responsible for development of the Training Material, Curriculum, Defining the various IT Scheduler Certification levels for the Training team to go ahead and coordinate the Trainings. The role should preferably come from an internal practice function that is familiar with the IT Scheduling services and has experience in development of training for this function.

The position requires an individual with excellent communications skills (verbal and written), strong personal organizational skills and big picture view of the use of IT to drive business solutions. This position will be playing a key role in various core groups like delivery management, quality / CI practice and be responsible for the IT Scheduling Service related Training and Curriculum development to support on-boarding/training/mentoring of the IT Scheduling team.

Skills/Experience to be successful:
  • Experience in Training/Certifications Curriculum development in Project / Program Management Space
  • Previous Project Management or Project Coordination experience (required)
  • Primavera and/or similar project scheduling tools (MS Project) experience
  • Understanding of project charters
  • Knowledge of Project Methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum)
  • Understanding of IT Change Management processes
  • Experience working with distributed teams
  • Excellent communications capabilities (written and verbal)
  • Excellent negotiation skills/facilitation skills
  • Flexibility and Adaptability in a fast paced work environment
  • Ability to navigate the organization
  • Time Management/Organization Skills
  • Ability to mediate issues and manage conflicts
  • Ability to bring resources together as a team
  • Ability to collect, consolidate and report metrics, status reports

The following skills / certifications are preferred but not required:
  • PMP Certification/PMBOK (Project Management Book of Knowledge)
  • Certified Scrum Master
  • ITIL (IT Information Library)
  • CAPM (Certified Associate in Project Management)

Basic Qualifications: Basic Qualification:

Minimum 2 Years Required
  • Project Management or Coordination experience
  • Training Curriculum and Development Experience
Minimum 1 Years Required
  • Project Methodology (Waterfall, Agile, Scrum) Experience
  • Knowledge of Project Scheduling
