This position reports directly to the local Sr. HR Leader of the Campus, and with multiple matrix reporting lines to the diverse Clients in Business.
Mexicali Campus is about a 1,000 employees with expansion expectations, and is part of the Aerostructures /UTC Aerospace Systems, proudly part of United Technologies Corporation.
Area of Expertise:
Liaison between all Human Resources functions and line management. Manages all employee relations and Human
Resources issues and programs within a business unit or portion of a business unit in the UTAS-ASG Mexicali Site.
Typical Roles/Area of Focus:
Incumbent's responsibilities will focus on most of the HR functions of expertise, in order to support, guide, coach the business towards achieving success.
Level of Responsibility:
o Provides strategic direction for systems, projects, and programs in area of expertise
o Contributes to the company and the industry by advancing the level of knowledge within that discipline
o Provides cross-functional guidance and expertise
o Is seen as a leading expert within his/her field
Candidate has demonstrated growing career, with extensive exposure to all areas of Human Resources such as: Staffing, C&B, Labor and Employee Relations, Organizational Development, etc.
Demonstrated overall HR experience for about 15 years, with at least 8 years at Management level, with top notch global companies-highly preferred in Automotive, Aerospace and/or Metal Mechanic industry.
Other important requirements:
- Strategic-Decisive Leadership, Change Management, Communication,
- Business Degree or similar field
- Master's in HR or other Business area, is highly desirable
- Fluent English and Spanish skills
