      • Plan, coordinate, design, implement, and maintain data and communication network services, components and associated infrastructure with a focus on maximum availability and performance to the business.

      • Ensure the security and policy compliance of the enterprise IT networks, WAN/LANs, SANs, server and networking equipment, database, operating systems, network administration tools, and integrity of the all systems and data.

      • Manage and maintain backup and recovery plans and processes, assisting with the administration and maintenance of IT Disaster Recovery/Business Continuity plan.

      • Provide escalated (second and third level) technical support, troubleshooting, timely fault rectification of technical issues related to networking equipment and services, encompassing the detection and resolution of problems in network infrastructure and user access rights.

      • Monitor and manage assigned IT calls and complete tasks within agreed service levels and assigned KPIs; Provide the end-user with status updates concerning the Incident and Service Request tickets.

      • Provide advanced technical advice on IT issues and planning to utilize IT in the most effective and efficient manner to achieve the business objectives; Analysing proposals, supervising acceptance tests and commissioning communications systems and equipment.

      • Create and maintain processes and procedures, technical documentation, reports, records, and assist in the development of policies and standards regarding IT infrastructure solutions and IT Security policy compliance requirements.

      • Ensure all network hardware, software and infrastructure asset details is recorded and maintained in an Asset Register.

      • Provide guidelines for training in the use and maintenance of networking equipment, systems and facilities.

      • Manage the analysis of network traffic data and providing recommendations on performance improvements and/or tunings to network infrastructures, hardware, and software as appropriate; continually identify opportunities for improvement.

      • Act as an interface between the organisation and suppliers/carriers/vendors regarding infrastructure related matters and carrier billing.

      • Work close with regional counterparts, and participate in corporate change control procedures and methodologies.

Job Requirements
      • Tertiary education in IT/computing discipline
      • At least 6 years of relevant experience in an IT Infrastructure and Information Security
      • Qualifications such as CCNA, CCNP, or MCTIP
      • Information Security certifications such as CISSP, CISA
      • ITIL Certification is preferred
      • Possess Project management skills and an ability to prioritise multiple tasks
      • Strong skills in Router Hardware/Software, Switch Hardware/Software, SNA/MVS, Protocols (TCP/IP,VLAN , Routing Protocols), Wireless Networks (802.11), Network Security devices (IDP, Firewall); Advanced knowledge of VOIP technologies from a network layer
      • Network Security skills, including data protection and post-attack/compromise analysis
      • Good knowledge of industry standards and government regulations relevant to data communications / networking
      • Experience in solution design and integration.
      • Experience with server and storage hardware an advantage
      • Solid experience in Windows Server 2003 / 2008, Active Directory, Exchange Server, DNS and DHCP is a MUST
      • Strong technical understanding and support of Engineering specific applications and Microsoft technologies.
      • Experience of other technologies including VMware, SCCM, BES would also be an advantage.
      • Excellent troubleshooting/problem solving skills; Proven experience in analysing complex IT problems and providing effective solutions.
      • Strong experience providing technical support and meeting agreed SLA's.
      • Proven experience in working in high pressure environments and dealing with emergency situations successfully; Willing to work during non-office hours
      • High level of attention to details
      • Excellent communication skills coupled with a customer service orientation
      • Fluent in spoken and written English, Cantonese and/or Putonghua
