RCS Training Academy Lead (m/f), role in Stockholm (Sweden)
The BT RCS Training Academy contributes to building knowledge within and outside RCS, promoting BT and RCS, supporting sales and marketing activities and promoting rail training and education. The BT RCS Training Academy holds and develops agreements with rail schools and Universities which includes lease and access to training equipment, facilities and trainers.
The Leader of the BT RCS Training Academy has the responsibility of the RCS global training portfolio, its relevance and value to the business: the organization and our customers. The responsibility includes maintaining the training portfolio to the highest quality standards, and ensuring that the training portfolio is made accessible and delivered to the business in the most appropriate and cost effective way. To ensure success, the Leader of the RCS Training Academy will need to develop a cooperative network with internal and external stakeholders across various functions (such as Solutions and Products Managers, Sales, Bids, Services, Communications, Human Resources, Finance, trainers), demonstrate Leadership, drive initiatives, and commit to ambitious objectives.
The BT RCS Training Academy develops and delivers training covering rail solutions, systems and products to:
-BT RCS projects and end-users
-Companies; infrastructure owners & maintainers as well as operators and consulting companies
-Schools and universities
-RCS and BT staff
Lead and coordinate the migration of existing (and appropriate) training courses to the Bombardier e-learning platform.
Manage the training portfolio and harmonize current courses packages. Enforce a common training strategy.
Align all RCS product courses, course structures & templates.
Lead and coordinate the execution of training sessions in cooperation with BT RCS trainers and BT HR SSO Learning & Development in charge of administration, invoicing, scheduling and planning.
Pool trainers globally for better efficiency and cost. Ensure that trainers pass through certification & accreditation programs.
Improve and rationalize how training is presented in bids and in project deliveries. Further develop our global network. Centrally coordinate and push for local agreements with universities and schools.
Decide on work process and governance relevant to the successful execution of the mission.
Decide on priorities and milestones relevant to the successful execution of the mission.
Drive own value adding initiatives relevant to the mission, as well as own initiatives above and beyond the mission.
YOUR EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
University Bachelor's degree or higher
Solid knowledge regarding training methods, training organizations, change management
Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills and has the ability to guide, influence and convince others
Open minded, easily adaptable, positive attitude towards new challenges
English business fluent is mandatory, Swedish language skills are considered nice to have
5 to 10 years of experience, preferably in industrial business environment
Willing to travel maximum 5 or 6 times per year
