Job Summary
The Transportation Division of AECOM is actively seeking a Project Manager - Project Cost/Change Control for immediate employment in the Salt Lake City, UT office. This person will be an integral part in the change management team of a $1.8B Terminal Redevelopment Program (TRP) for the Salt Lake City International Airport. The project includes construction of a new consolidated terminal building, parking structure, and connection with the light rail system. We are looking for an individual with a passion for aviation and who is very familiar with CMAR contracting methods and able to track various funding sources and eligibility of funds for project work. This individual will work directly with the Deputy Program Director - Change Management, the Program Manager, and with the SLCDA finance group. This position is contingent upon award of contract.

The responsibilities of this position include but are not limited to:
  • Working closely with the SLCDA Construction Finance Group and assisting with the review of the TRP projects payment applications from the CMAR, GCs, architects, engineers and consultants
  • Supporting the TRP Construction Manager and staff as required to ensure the TRP projects are compliant with Airport Facility Program (AIP), Transportation Security Administration (TSA), Passenger Facility Charges (PFC), American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA), City procurement requirements, State of Utah requirements and guidelines, as applicable

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in related field
  • 5 years of experience working in construction in a cost control position at a major hub airport
  • Must be familiar with the various contract delivery methods (design-bid-build, design-build, construction manager at risk for example)
  • Must be detail oriented, proficient with the Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, and have experience with a program management software system (PMSS), Primavera Contract Manager, Prolog, or Expedition for example
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work closely with TRP project staff, owner, architects, engineers, contractors and other agencies
