Due to continuous growth, our client are now looking for an experienced Water Hygiene Engineer to join their team based in the North East on a permanent basis.
As a Water Hygiene Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out tasks for the prevention and control of legionnaires' disease at customer sites across the region. The role involes travelling to customer sites, you will inspect, carry out cleaning and disinfectant-related tasks on cold water storage tanks, pipework and showerheads. You'll test the temperature of water, perform calorifier inspections and take water samples.

Completing on-site log books and job sheets while on site and effectively communicating with customers in a clear, professional manner, you will also take ownership of any issues as they arise and use your initiative to effectively resolve problems. Professional and focused, as a Water Hygiene Engineer, you must have an mechanical mind-set with excellent communication and time-management skills.

To be considered, you must have:

- Experience of working in a similar role
- Hold a L8 qualification
- A full driving licence
