A intermediate level structural design engineer is required by this highly reputable design consultancy based in Twickenham. They are part of a larger company group so can offer challenging projects and multi-discipline services. They work on a wide variety of buildings projects, often large mixed use new build developments as well as smaller projects. They pride themselves on their interesting and varied workload and their work hard play hard office environment.|
You should be ideally working towards Chartership or already Chartered with experience of medium to large RC Framed structures. EC2 concrete design experience ideally required and if you do not have this you will need to be a fast learner. This is the current design code now and for the future. You should also have experience with load bearing masonry and steel design.
The position is for a good all round engineer with experience of reasonable sized projects and plenty of RC design experience.
It is essential that you must have good communication skills, be proactive and get on well within a design team. You must be passionate about design, yet commercially minded to create technically excellent, cost effective and timely designs for clients. Projects can be up to £300m in value.
The office is close to the mainline station with fast links from London Waterloo. Excellent promotional prospects exist within this business which is really going places.
