The Program
Here is your opportunity to work on the first ever high-speed rail program in the U.S. while growing your career on a groundbreaking project. The California High-Speed Rail program will connect the mega-regions of the state, contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs and preserve agricultural and protected lands. By 2029, the system will run from San Francisco to the Los Angeles basin in under three hours at speeds of more than 200 miles per hour. The system will also extend to Sacramento and San Diego, totaling 800 miles with up to 24 stations.

The Role
The California High Speed Rail Authority has awarded WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff the Program Management role within the Rail Delivery Partners (RDP) program delivery team. As a result we have an immediate opportunity for a Senior Scheduler at our San Francisco program office. This role reports to the Program Controls Manager for the entire program. The principal duties of the Senior Scheduler include:
      • Produce program-level reporting metrics to include Schedule Performance Index, Baseline Execution Index, Criticality Index and Longest Path Length Index reporting
      • Assesses schedule performance against program milestones
      • Proactively coordinate with all organizational subject matter experts to ensure accurate reporting
      • Collate project-level schedule reporting to produce program-level schedule reporting
      • Coordinate the alignment of the project-level schedules with the Master Program Schedule and PMIS
      • Ensure the alignment of the Master Program with all schedule reporting and/or alerts the Schedule Manager of misalignments with corresponding misalignment descriptions
      • Provide data required for Earned Value Management
      • Perform impact analyses and schedule updates as required
      • Oversee and proactively provides guidance to project-level schedule consultants
      • Perform schedule forecasting as required
      • Incorporate schedule Change Orders in coordination with Program Change Management
      • Support project-level trend management

Job Requirements
The Requirements
      • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
      • At least 15 years scheduling experience on megaprojects
      • Primavera P6 expert user
      • Preference will be given to applicants with recent, prior experience working on major projects for the state of California or its agencies
      • The ability to work in the United States immediately is required
