The Program
Here is your opportunity to work on the first ever high-speed rail program in the U.S. while growing your career on a groundbreaking project. The California High-Speed Rail program will connect the mega-regions of the state, contribute to economic development and a cleaner environment, create jobs and preserve agricultural and protected lands. By 2029, the system will run from San Francisco to the Los Angeles basin in under three hours at speeds of more than 200 miles per hour. The system will also extend to Sacramento and San Diego, totaling 800 miles with up to 24 stations.

The Role
The California High Speed Rail Authority has awarded WSP | Parsons Brinckerhoff the Program Management role within the Rail Delivery Partners (RDP) program delivery team. As a result we have an immediate opportunity for a Forensic Schedule Analyst. This role reports to the Program Controls Manager for the entire program and is located in Sacramento, CA. The principal duties of the Forensic Schedule Analyst include:
      • Preparation of time impact analyses and windows analyses as required in support of claims and complex change orders
      • Review of time-impact analyses and windows analyses as required in support of claims and complex change orders
      • Preparation and maintenance of program schedule claims analysis plan
      • Review of the project claims analysis plan
      • Proactive development of schedule mitigation and improvement strategies with the project management teams and for the program management team.
      • Locating and defining new process improvement opportunities

Job Requirements
The Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • Fully conversant with industry-standard delay analysis techniques
  • At least 15 years total, relevant experience, of which at least ten years using critical path method schedule techniques in the delivery of megaprojects in the engineering and construction industry, and at least ten years using time impact analyses and windows analyses in the same setting
  • The ability to work in the United States immediately is required, local candidates preferred EOE / Veteran / Disability / Gender (M-F) / Gender Identity / Sexual Orientation
