About the Business Line
AECOM's Global Support Services (GSS) organization resides within AECOM's Government business line and is comprised of three divisions - International Development, Operations and Mission Support, and Global Programs. GSS has the international presence, personnel networks and procurement infrastructure to deliver support for any mission, anywhere. Job Summary
AECOM is seeking an Engineer to support E3 Spectrum Supportability of the Electromagnetic Mission Assurance Center (EMAC) Contract and providing technical engineering services to the Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD). AECOM is seeking an E3/EMI Engineer that will be responsible for EMI analyses of a variety of RF systems and RF bench/field testing. Systems will include mostly Navy and Marine Corp Radars, SATCOMS, and advanced wireless systems. The tasks will involve the analyses and verification of EMI issues within a variety of frequency bands: conduct technical analyses using MATLAB: plan and execute bench and field test events: the use of state of the art test equipment: generation and publishing of test reports and analyses: and participation in various Working Groups. Candidate will have direct customer daily interface and communication while working on site.

Minimum Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical engineering and 7 years' experience or equivalent.
• Experience with applying the principles of the performance of the Radio Frequency Engineering analysis.
• Knowledge of RF and antenna theory and applications,
• Familiarity or proficiency with advanced RF test equipment,
• Knowledge of, or experience with E3 and EMI testing and analyses.
• Ability to work both in a team and independently to accomplish tasks,
• Ability to collaborate with technical teams of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences consisting of both government and contractor personnel,
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
Requires Active Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge and experience of spectrum supportability
• Knowledge of Navy and Marine Corps RF Systems including but not limited to satellite communications, line-of-sight communications, and radars.
• Knowledge of commercial wireless communications systems and standards, such as WiMAX and LTE
Proficiency in MATLAB programming.
