We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Principal Civil Engineer - Transport. Reporting to the Perth Discipline Manager, you will work as an integral part of the Perth Engineering team with multiple Clients on a range of exciting projects.
Duties include:

  • Form and nurture industry/market relationships to maximise repeat business from existing Clients
  • Provide technical expertise, mentoring and support to the civil/road engineering team.
  • Supervise project staff and review deliverables to ensure compliance with technical and quality assurance standards
  • Work independently to complete the planning, design and execution of projects that meet or exceed client expectations
  • Assist and support the development of new business opportunities, including responsibility for preparation of project proposals.

  • Bachelor of Engineering (Civil) or equivalent
  • CPEng (or equivalent Chartered or Registered status)
  • Strong technical design ability
  • Main Roads WA experience or other similar statutory agency
  • Proven experience in a Project/Design Manager role for transport projects is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of commercial arrangements and relationships
  • Strong practical knowledge of and commitment to health and safety
  • Hold a minimum of 15 years relevant experience and significant experience, desirably some in an engineering consulting environment.
  • Previous experience in team management
