Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Payroll Analyst to join our North America Human Resources/Payroll team for the Glen Allen, Virginia office location. As a member of the team, the Payroll Analyst will provide assistance with end-to-end payroll processing, Sox Compliance, account reconciliations, generating reports, and time-and-labor system support (i.e. testing, enhancements).

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Conduct and lead Oracle weekly timesheet payroll close processing
  • Manage and maintain the Auto Generated Timecard Program, ensuring accurate employee information is posted each week
  • Timely completion of the payroll related reconciliations, including the Oracle Weekly Projects reconciliation and the accurate resolution of noted variances
  • Preparation of monthly Leave accrual reporting for Finance and Human Resource Business Partners
  • Ensure the processing of monthly payroll for Trinidad local associates by partnering with local payroll provider
  • Support all Oracle upgrades and complete end user testing and initiatives
  • Manage weekly, biweekly, monthly reporting requests
  • Manage/monitor data requests
  • Participate in additional departmental projects as needed
  • Partner with multiple departments (i.e. IT, Accounting, HR) to ensure all accounting and reconciliation deadlines are being met, transactions have been booked accurately, and exception customer service is provided

Minimum Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • 4 years of experience in p ayroll regulations and procedures
  • Strong analytical background
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of information
  • Motivated self-starter and team player
  • Exceptional attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Initiative to improve efficiency
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task in fast paced environment
  • Ability to prioritize and perform work with minimal supervision
  • Proficient with spreadsheets and data processing (i.e. formulas, pivot tables, vlookup)

Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior Oracle experience preferred
  • Familiarity with Canada Payroll
  • CPP certification desired
