Job Summary
AECOM is seeking a Quality Assurance / Quality Control Manager for an Automotive construction project based in San Luis Potosi, Mexico.
This position is for an international assignment and will have a full expatriate package.
Responsibilities will Include:
  • Develop QA/QC plan for the project based on experience and project execution procedures.
  • Manage a group of quality and testing specialists.
  • Provide leadership for quality assurance and quality control support to ensure that the product is designed, procured, and installed in accordance with customer and company quality requirements.
  • Makes frequent decisions using principles and professional independent judgment.
  • Provides technical consultation, support and leadership to lower level engineers, technicians, and inspectors.
  • Technically supervises the quality of major phases of the design-construction work, coordinating the efforts of technical support staff in the performance of assigned project.
  • Supervises and plans methods of approach and organizes means to achieve solution of technical problems.
  • Coordinates investigations and tests. Reviews project process and evaluates results.
  • Evaluates vendor capabilities to provide required products or services.
  • May specialize in particular area of quality control engineering, such as design, incoming material, process control, product evaluation, inventory control, product reliability, research and development, and administrative application.

Minimum Requirements
Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or demonstrated equivalent combination of education and/or experience.


  • 10 years experience in quality control/assurance. Lead Auditor/Auditor Certificate desired.
  • Computer proficient in MS Office
  • Industrial construction experience
  • On site construction experience dealing with contractors and third party companies

Preferred Qualifications
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Automotive experience
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
