I'm currently working with one of the UK's leading Construction and Property specialists, who due to continued expansion and growth, are recruiting for a DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR to join their Technical team on Tyneside.|
The company are well known due to their extensive and envious track record within the Regeneration and Community Development sector. They are part of a £1bn turnover group, so have significant presence within their sector and are well respected throughout the industry.
They have recently embarked on a new and exciting strategic path where they are adding to their usual portfolio of project types (new build social housing, care homes and assisted living) with new ventures in the commercial and accommodation sector. This strategic shift has already brought a number of high profile project wins (£50m) in the region across Student Accommodation, Hotels, Retail and High Spec Apartment schemes.
As a result of this growth they now require an addional Development Coordinator. The successful candidate will join a highly dynamic and capable team focused on supporting the successful execution and delivery of projects.
The key duties will include:
* Taking schemes from feasibility stage
* Overseeing planning conditions
* Instructing construction teams
* Issuing design info
* Releasing information to subcontractors
* Checking and coordinating drawings and design
* Attending design team meetings
* Signing off Building Regulations
* Liaise with external Consultants
In addition to the opportunity to get involved in some prestigious projects and develop your career, the company are offering the following package:
£35,000 - £40,000pa salary (depending on experience)
£5,000pa car allowance
Bonus (12 - 15% paid annually)
25 days annual leave + stats (option to buy / sell holidays)
It's anticipated that the idea candidate will come from either Architectural Practice, Housebuilding or Construction background.
