The Role

We have an immediate opportunity for a Project Controls Specialist to work on a diverse range of projects including Aviation, at both our San Bernardino, CA and Orange, CA offices. This role reports to the Project Controls Engineering Supervisor and provides the opportunity for career development in a collaborative environment. The principal duties of the Project Controls Specialist include:
      • Read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
      • Write reports and business correspondence
      • Interact effectively with the client community, program office personnel and contractors
      • Effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients and contractors
      • Handle calculations and analyses involving several concrete variables in standardized situations, and compute rate, ratio, and percent
      • Apply sound understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form

Job Requirements
The Requirements
      • BS degree in Construction Management, Engineering or Business/Project Management from a four-year college or university, or one to three years of relevant experience managing schedules on large-scale design/procure/construction projects
      • Strong understating of design and construction
      • Thorough understanding of the multi-disciplinary processes through the entire life cycle of airport development projects
      • Thorough understanding of CPM and PERT methods of scheduling
      • Working knowledge of Primavera 6.0 and Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
      • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
      • Excellent interpersonal skills
      • The ability to work in the United States immediately is required, local candidates preferred
