The Aviation Recruiter is responsible for sourcing, identifying and placing qualified candidates for short-term and long-term contracts. This position builds and maintains relationships with both contract employees and human resource contacts to ensure a safe and satisfactory work environment by performing the following duties:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Responsible for sourcing candidates for temporary contract assignments and/or fulltime technical positions.
In partnership with management, identifies staffing needs, workforce planning and search assignments.
Meets minimum staffing matrix requirements, for all assigned positions.
Writes and places job advertisements in various external media including but not limited to, the internet, newspapers, industry publications, etc.
Develops and maintains good working relationships with all departments within Jet Professionals and its clients to create and maintain partnerships that yields success trust,and credibility.
Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
Stays informed of trends and innovative recruiting techniques in order to stay competitive.
Maintains accurate and well-ordered documentation on all candidates, searches, and recruiting activity and updates the applicant tracking system and/or any other system appropriately.
Participates in onsite customer visits when required.
Other duties may be assigned, as required.
• EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND/OR REQUIREMENTS
Associates or bachelors degree from an accredited college or university; and at least one to two years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Recruiting, aviation, sales or call center experience preferred.
May be required to be 21 or older and have a valid drivers license with a clean driving record; must also be able to pass a required 10-year background check
Sales skills are desirable but not required.
Excellent computer skills with a degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, XP, Power Point, and Outlook. Some knowledge of ATS applications desirable.
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Must present a team effort approach, attention to detail and strong organizational skills
Must be proactive, efficient, customer focused and able to work under pressure with tight deadlines
Must be available to work flexible hours and travel, when needed
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
